Community Medical Services & Essential Drugs (CSMED) is a healthcare-focused undergraduate program designed to prepare students for primary healthcare services, preventive care, and the responsible use of essential drugs. The program emphasizes community-level medical services, particularly in rural and underserved areas, where access to healthcare facilities is limited.
This course bridges the gap between modern healthcare practices and community-level health needs by training professionals in the correct usage, prescription, and management of essential drugs recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO).
